Piper
originally announced in their 2005 catalogue that they would be
publishing the title with their imprint in August, but the stock
that Piper took over from Heyne sold out much faster than they
expected and they therefore had to issue is much earlier than
planned. This, I am told, necessitated the allocation of a separate
ISBN to the earlier issue, which is why that issue has a ‘later’
ISBN.
