Technically should not be here, since in this case the cart is in front of the horse, but I think it makes more sense to put it here rather than in the general short stories section. This story was written in response to a request from Terry’s old paper and as that invitation came while he was writing Hogfather, the story was written and, revised, became a scene in the novel.
